Dog Walks Pty Ltd is very proud of being the only professional dog walking service in all 3 Australian quarantine stations. Uniquely, we operate as a company and employ only experienced animal handlers. When you are far away from your beloved pet, we feel this gives you the confidence to trust in us and the confidence to trust in our ability to love and care for your pets.
Dog Walking Packages offered are:-
Sydney walks and visits……A$ 80 per week (plus GST @ 10%)
We see your dog fourtimes per week (maximum permitted in Eastern Creek, Sydney and subject to AQIS availability) which includes – two walks per week in the exercise paddocks – two kennel visits per week for play, grooming and companionship – treats of your choice each time – a toy to play with during these times, and – photos each time with phone updates as often as you wish.
Sydney visits only.………….. A$ 50 per week (plus GST @ 10%)
We see your dog twotimes per week (maximum permitted in Eastern Creek, Sydney and subject to AQIS availability) which includes – two kennel visits per week for play, grooming and companionship (this may include a bath upon request) – treats of your choice each time – a toy to play with during these times, and – photos each time with phone updates as often as you wish.
Perth…………………………… A$ 80 per week (plus GST @ 10%)
We see your dog three times per week which includes – two weekly walks in the exercise paddocks with visits combined – one weekly visit including groom – treats of your choice each time – a toy to play with during these times, and – photos each time with phone updates as often as you wish.
We see your dog two times per week which includes – two weekly walks in the exercise paddocks with visits combined – a full weekly groom (takes place after one of the above walks) – treats of your choice each time – a toy to play with during these times, and – photos each time with phone updates as often as you wish.
Each quarantine station has slightly differing guidelines for access, however, the amount of time we spend with your dog is the same in all three.
- The walks weekly,
We offer two walks per week, that are always for a full 30 minutes (up to one hour in Melbourne). We do not do walks that are shorter than 30 minutes as we find that it is not enough time for the dog to really benefit from the exercise and change of scenery. We use a variety of toys to encourage play – or ourselves if they prefer chase to fetch! Even when a dog does not want to run and play for the full 30 minutes, they still benefit from being able to roll in the grass, smell different smells and experience new sights and sounds. If walks are not possible (due to rain, quarantine restrictions or other circumstances) we will continue to visit your dog for the full allocated time. Importantly this allows us to maintain contact and provide your dog with love and affection (and of course treats!), whilst also providing much needed exercise – you would be amazed at how much a dog can run and play in their kennel when stimulated through play!
These walks and special visits are always subject to quarantine availability. If we have a problem, we will let you know and agree a mutually acceptable alternative.
In Sydney, subject to availability, we are able to bath your pet for you at no additional cost to you. It would, however, replace all or part of one of the weekly walking appointments permitted.

- The visits weekly,
For the dog, visits are for treats, cuddles, play and human company. For us, visiting has another purpose too as we use that time to thoroughly brush the dog at least weekly and to give it a regular ”once over” (ears, eyes, teeth etc) to just ensure all is well. The quarantine staff do this too of course but a second pair of eyes with the time to dedicate has often proved helpful. We are often able to offer a basic clipping services too upon request. Visits last between 20 and 30 mins depending on the dog and its needs
- Photos and treats of your choice every time
We put photos online each time we have seen your pet as well as being on the end of a phone or email for any questions or requests you have during the period (and way beyond in many cases!).We will always get in touch you with too if there is anything specific to tell you.
- Going the extra mile !
It is difficult to know how to describe this any other way. Anyone who has seen us at work knows that we always go out of our way to help – whether that be researching things for you, buying and delivering special food (including delicious home-cooked meals), finding the right additional bedding for you, we will never say “no” and always try our hardest to help. Quite simply, we love pets and will do whatever we can to make the stay easier for them and you.
- Basic toy for supervised play during exercise and visiting

Additional cost for second dog sharing kennel ……….. A$ 60 per month (plus GST @ 10%)
Hydrobathing Melbourne and Perth………………………… A$ 25 per bath (plus GST @ 10%)
Cat Cuddles Sydney, Melbourne and Perth …………….. A$ 70 per week (plus GST @ 10%)
(we spend the same amount of time with your cat as we spend with dogs)
